Christopher Doyle™ Identity Guidelines

June 26th, 2009
by James Kurtz III

Sydney based designer Christopher Doyle has created an Identity Guideline manual for himself. He pokes fun at the typically dry and demanding yet essential documents that define brands.

My favorite page is the incorrect usage of “tucking and tying.”

Ha! Yeah, I know. Great stuff.

Chris has always been a bit like this, for as long as I have known him. But it certainly gave him a fun break from corporate guidline manuals!

And he has now picked up an AGDA award and a yellow D&AD pencil for it, so it really is popular with a LOT of designers.

    Nick,
Thanks for stopping by. I can see why it’s so popular with other designers. It’s a great idea and a wonderful execution.
