Batman has been with us for 70 years now and over his life span has undergone many makeovers in many forms of media. In print from Bob Kane’s original drawings to Jim Lee’s tight pencils; in live action from Adam West’s campy rendition, to the dark Christopher Nolan interpretation. When a new artist inherits this iconic characther they put their own touches on him; including the logo on his chest.
Below is a small collection of the Batman logo as it has evolved over the years.

1941, Batman with Robin The Boy Wonder, Comic Book, Detective Comics

1965, Batman, Comic Book, DC Comics

1966, Batman, TV Show, Adam West and Burt Ward

1986, The Dark Knight Returns, Comic Book, Frank Miller

1989, Batman, Film, Tim Burton, Michael Keaton

1993, Nightfall, DC Comics, Doug Moench, Jim Aparo

1999, Batman Beyond, Animated Series, Warner Brothers

2005, Batman Begins, Film, Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale
